The Sweepstakes is a monthly drawing in which eligible cardholders of Coloramo FCU’s Visa debit or credit card are automatically entered each time they swipe. Each qualifying swipe earns one entry.   2. Do I need to make a purchase to enter? No. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

  3. Who is eligible to enter the Sweepstakes? To be eligible, you must:

    • Be a member in good standing with Coloramo FCU (no delinquent/charged-off accounts, no overdrawn accounts for more than 15 days, no other account restrictions).

    • Hold a share draft (checking) account with Coloramo FCU.

    • Possess a valid debit or credit card issued by Coloramo FCU.

    • Be at least 18 years of age.

    • Consent to the use of their name and photograph for promotional purposes if selected.

    • Additionally, employees of Coloramo FCU, its Board Members, Supervisory Committee Members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate or win.

  4. How do I enter the Sweepstakes? There are two entry methods:

    • Automatic Entry: Each qualifying debit or credit card transaction during a monthly entry period earns one entry.

    • Mail-in Entry (no transaction required): To enter without a purchase, you can mail a 3 × 5 inch card with your name, Coloramo account number, phone number (with area code), date of birth, email address, date, signature, and the month of entry noted — along with the description “Coloramo Spend and Score Sweepstakes, Free to Enter.” Only one entry per envelope. Mail must be postmarked by the last day of the month and received within five days after month-end. Mail to: Coloramo FCU, 516 28 Road, Grand Junction, CO 81501, Attn: Marketing Department.

  5. What are the entry periods and how often are winners selected? The Promotion Period runs from May 1 2025 at 12:00 AM MST through December 31 2025 at 11:59 PM MST.
    Entry periods and drawings are monthly for the months: May, June, July, August, November, December 2025. One winner per eligible month will be selected. Entries are only eligible for the drawing in the month they are received; non-winning entries do not roll over to the next month.

  6. What is the prize? For each eligible month listed, one winner will receive a prize of $500. A total of six (6) prizes will be awarded across the Promotion Period (i.e., six $500 prizes, totaling approximately $3,000). Prizes are non‐transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash alternatives, and are delivered via direct deposit to the winner’s Coloramo FCU account. Winners’ names and photographs may be used by Coloramo FCU for promotional purposes. The prize is taxable income; the winner is responsible for reporting it, and a 1099 form will be issued by Coloramo FCU.

  7. What are the odds of winning? Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the respective monthly entry period. Entries received via mail have the same chance as automatic entries.

  8. How and when is the winner selected and notified? One winner is randomly selected each month from all eligible entries during that month’s entry period. Drawings are conducted on or about the 15th business day of the following month. Winners will be notified via the email or phone number on file with their account and must respond within 10 days to claim the prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond, an alternate winner may be selected.

  9. What conditions apply when I participate? Participation means you agree to:

    • Comply with all Sweepstakes rules and decisions made by Coloramo FCU.

    • Allow Coloramo FCU to use your name, photograph, likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation (unless prohibited by law).

    • Release and hold harmless Coloramo FCU, its employees, board members, affiliates, and other Sweepstakes Entities from liability arising from participation or acceptance/use of the prize.

    • Agree entries made by automated means, bots, brute-force, or automated entry devices are strictly prohibited and will be disqualified.
