Shared Branching

In April 2009, Coloramo joined the Shared Branching network. As a member of Coloramo, you can conduct transactions at over 5,000 credit union locations nationwide. What does this mean to you? CONVENIENCE!

You can conduct the following transactions at CU Service Center Shared Branching locations:

  • Deposits

  • Withdrawals

  • Transfers

  • Balance inquiries

  • Loan payments and advances

  • Purchase traveler’s checks, official checks, and money orders at select locations (availability of service and fees vary at each location)

Services that cannot be done at a shared branch:*

  • Become a member of a credit union

  • Close the account

  • Add new services or accounts

  • Order checks

  • Make changes to your accounts, including name and address changes

  • Cash checks

  • Negotiate third party checks

* Please visit your credit union location for these services.

To find a CU Service Center near your home, office, or in a city you’re traveling to, simply call 1-888-837-6500 (CO-OP live help desk) or click here to search for locations. It’s that easy!

Remember, all you need to conduct a transaction at a CU Service Center is your credit union name, member account number, a valid photo ID, and the last 4 digits of your social security number. We thank you in advance for supplying this information and helping us protect you and your money from fraudulent activity. Your first 8 transactions per month are free, and $2.50 per transaction, thereafter.

Here’s another benefit of Shared Branching!

Are you a member of another credit union across town or in another state? Ask if they are in Shared Branching. If so, you may now access your other credit union accounts at Coloramo!
